Pune, Maharashtra’s second-largest city has a rhythmic attachment to its rich heritage and culture. The influential ground is situated near the Mula-Mutha river, making it an exemplary choice for raising awareness about saving Water. A platform like PuneRé has established the urgency to raise awareness in a creative and fun manner. Behold! A Photography contest will unitedly help raise our voice for the cause while you can stand a chance to win exciting prizes. 

Surrounding the theme 'Water- Our Lifeline', implying the importance of conserving Water for the generations to come, bring on your A-game and click a picture reflecting the importance of Water, and your take on conserving it.

The winners will be selected based on the creativity, use of the theme and maximum likes the participant can gather on the submitted images. Unanimously, the picture with depth and perception, will have a higher chance of winning. What are you waiting for?

Round 1

  • Entries submitted through this website would only be considered for final judging.
  • Image to be uploaded on the website of PMCPuneRé along with registration details.
  • Participants also need to post their image on their own social media handle tagging PMCPuneRé.
  • The file size for each image must be within 20 MB, the recommended file format is JPEG, JPG, PNG.
  • Every participant to follow & like PMCPuneRé Social media pages.
  • Last date of submission is 15th Feb23. 

 

 Round 2

  • Images uploaded by participants will be shortlisted after 15th Feb23 till 18th Feb23, on basis of its originality, concept (Theme) and creativity.
  • Top 10 images from the pool of entries will be further selected and will progress into the Finale.
  • These 10 selected images sent for this competition will be published on:
    1. pmcpunere FB page
    2. pmcpunere Insta page
  • Participants will be informed about their Image posting on PuneRé social media pages 2 days prior to posting.
  • Each shortlisted Participant will get a period of 3 days (between 19th-23rd Feb), to get maximum likes on their posted image.

Participants need to get maximum likes for the post with their submitted photograph, uploaded on the PuneRé social media page, in order to increase their winning chances for this competition.

           This will carry 60% weightage

  • The rest 40% would be judged on overall impact, artistic merit and other technical aspects by team of qualified judges.
  • The judge’s decision will be considered as final in the end and winner of the contest will be declared on 26th Feb23.

  • The contest is open for all age groups.
  • Only online submission will be considered.
  • Only one photo can be uploaded per participant and one entry is allowed per photographer.
  • The photograph must be original. There must be no border(s), logo(s), copyright marks, identifying marks, or any other visible references and/or marks on the image.
  • Basic editing, including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photo is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Photo.
  • The photograph should depict the theme “Water-Our Lifeline”.
  • Participants may submit coloured and/or black and white photographs.
  • It can be in Landscape/Portrait mode.
  • Team PuneRé reserves the right to assess and disregard any submitted photo at our discretion.
  • Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
  • High quality image must be uploaded – file size not to exceed 20 MB
  • The image must strictly follow the theme provided.
  • You must submit original photos that are not presented on any platform and are unreleased on all forms of visual media (including advertisements, stock photos, Social media, etc.) and in which you own all copyrights.
  • At anytime during the competition, Team PuneRé reserves the right to alter/modify the terms of the competition.
  • After submission, the images shared can be rightfully used by Team PuneRé for promotional purposes.

You can enter the contest regardless of nationality, age, gender, or professional/amateur status.

There is no fee to participate

You may use any photography or filming equipment.
